Aloha Music, Chiang Mai, Thailand (10 August 2024)
We took a taxi from our hotel to Aloha Music in Chiang Mai as they promote their Saturday morning jam sessions on Facebook and invite others to participate.

Being keen we got the times out of whack and turned up one hour early and the host still made us most welcome!

We had a lot of fun and played a lot of songs over the two hour session.

Thanks to Craig Moore (manager of Aloha Music) for welcoming us and allowing us to join their jam session.

How do we get to play in various spots while travelling overseas?
In our travels we are always on the lookout for music events that we can join. When we were in Paris Jackie Lee did a Facebook search for Ukulele Clubs in our area and sure enough there was one meeting that night only a couple of metro stations away. They meet on a floating barge on a river in Paris and made us most welcome. Our gig at Raoul Ukulele Club, Paris

Recording Studio
Jackie Lee spent some time recently in her brother Stephen's recording studio in Amesbury, UK recording a John Prime song. Her brother Lloyd has since arrived from Australia and has laid down the drum track. Whoo hoo - Sounding great!.

Wintermoon SpringFest
We are back in Oz in mid- August 2024 after being overseas for four months. We will be home for a week before heading off in our bus motorhome to drive 2,100 km to Calen in north Queensland for the Wintermoon SpringFest where Jackie Lee is doing some ukulele workshops. It is never a dull moment for us!
